I was trying to find out which one was the primary and secondary menu,

But in menu editor page there is a critical  JS error, and it is not possible to see any menu items.

I thought this was because of the Disable/Enable Menu Edit editor plugin you have, but after deactivating it, nothing changes.

Please fix this error and try again.

Additionally, you will need to find proper configuration of QM plugin, in options panel.

Yes you are right the Disable/Enable Menu Edit editor plugin should do this. This was a fix to a sage pay glitch. Hosting company siteground charged from c-panel to a new site of site tools on Wednesday reassigning everything under domains and removing the generic public folders – along with contents. They deleted 130 FTP accounts and took out bespoke Cron jobs. I guess the issue with Disable/Enable Menu Edit editor plugin is connected. I’ll have to get the dev to fix it next week and then come back to you on this. Sorry for wasting time. Hadnt identified this issue till you found.

What I meant is that you will need to adjust the QM settings in order to display the menu properly.

Top menu is not well aligned but stretched to the right

In the QM options >> default theme, you need to find correct configuration for these settings  snipboard.io/YtiJan.jpg

Use a html class in text box to make the menu fit to it.

 

However, as you mention,  something else is wrong on your website and that seems to be causing some issues

And I’m afraid that it is not related to our plugin. So we can’t support it, sorry

Thanks for the update.

I’ve checked the site and I can access and edit the menu. (My hosting provider changed the structure of the public HTML file last week and caused some issues. Now sorted.)

You were correct about Disable/Enable Menu Edit plugin. Accessed via ‘Settings’, this needs to be enabled to view and edit the menu. I have added additional screenshots 5 & 6 on m2m-direct.co.uk/quad showing menu edit working.

I made the setting modifications you suggested on your snipboard.io/YtiJan.jpg but these haven’t worked. This might be the HTML class I have used. I’m not a coder.

So we still have the Quad menu issues shown (m2m-direct.co.uk/quad) in screengrabs 2 (menu meltdown) and 3 (logo alignment) on m2m-direct.co.uk/quad.

If you could jump on and have a look to see if you can fix the logo alignment and if you can see the reason why the issue shown in screengrab 2 on the link keeps reoccurring, that would be great.

I really need to check how the menu was built, but menu editor -> m2m-direct.co.uk/wp-admin/nav-menus.php-> is not working

 

Please do whatever you need to so it is possible to access the menu editor page.

You are inserting a Logo as a menu item -> snipboard.io/WnF9Sg.jpg

Please delete this item and place the logo were it should be.

This is within QM options panel >> Secondary menu >> menu     ->snipboard.io/ONRmb2.jpg

 

After this, we’ll be able to center the secondary menu navbar.

OK. I removed the image (unclear why this would affect the menu justification but to move things forward it is done) and inserted it as a logo. As you can see we still have the same issue. All bunched up on the right which is why I had to use the image in 1st place. I just want the logo left-justified, ideally with menu items justified right. If I force full width it moves the logo off the screen.

The logo will be printed on the left side, if you place logo as a menu item this will not happen.

Please check now, it’s looking much better

I see it is certainly looking better. However, the hamburger menu icon is not working on either iOS or Android on a tablet or phone and there is no drop-down menu.

In the plugins, I see both QuadMenu – Divi Mega Menu and QuadMenu PRO have been deactivated. Is this where the justification problem was? Have I reverted to the basic version?

I didn’t deactivate Premium and Divi QuadMenu , and don’t remember seen them active before

I thought that you are simply not using them, besides that the Premium one is an old version and needs to be updated.

That is odd. They were being used. but not worried if it all works. I see auto-update was disabled and have updated.

So on the mobile menu I’m still seeing an issue I’m afraid. Quad has 2 different hamburger states. The initial one at breakpoint 1 is just a hamburger icon and then a second one with a grey background, the text ‘Select Page’ and a small hamburger icon to the right. This one is the one that isn’t working. Can get screenshots but have a zoom call now so will add in an hour

I’ve pasted a CSS script in theme customizer to hide the Divi menu. That’s the “select page” one.

Thanks Sebas. Can see the mobile menu working on my phone. However, it seems to be causing a whole range of random menu behaviours on PC and Tablets. I have taken a range of screenshots to show some of the problems and put them in a pdf that can be accessed by the link below
